Fundy Language Analytics is looking to reshape second language acquisition by driving language instruction from the linguistic background of a particular learner. We developed Fundy’s tool set which allows instructors to set up pronunciation practice lessons based on a learner’s first language. The system detects pronunciation errors and flags them for the learner. Most recently, we developed Connectionist Temporal Classification models that are able to find phoneme boundaries more accurately.
